To animate a makehuman model by loading a BVH file with blender,
Use MakeWalk, a blender plug-in provided by makehuman.
In order to use MakeWalk well, you need to create a target file according to your model.
In other words, create a target file adapted to your makehuman rig set.
In BVH data, the number of bones is often smaller than that of makehuman’s rig set.
So, for the armature of makehuman model, set the bone constraint of rotation control and rotation copy with blender.
The setting of bone constraints is left to your sense.
Now you are ready!
Open the MakeWalk tab of the tool shelf, press the [Load and Reterget] button, select the BVH file, and load it.
It takes a while to read. be careful.
After loading, it’s up to your steady efforts.
In this way, I read a BVH file and tried to make SwingDance dance to 3D model Reina.
As I am not very good at English, it may be difficult to understand.
